Out of the ground
One of the GM Vauxhall conference grounds is several miles out of town, right next to a large farm.
During a match one Saturday afternoon the ball was kicked clear out of the ground and landed in the farmyard in the middle of a group of chickens and a rooster.
The rooster looked at the ball thoughtfully for a few moments and then said quietly,
'Ladies, I .don't want to criticises but I'd just like you all to take a look at the kind of work that's being turned out on other farms.'
